Here is a quick video of Brett Hearn, a Dirt racing legend in the North East. Take a look at this car as he Time Trials. How do you think the FD drivers would do on dirt? I think JR did it a few years back but in a Late Model. The BB dirt mods make big power, I’m thinking around 700-800 HP, I could be wrong but it’s possible. If you ever get an opportunity to go to a dirt race don’t pass it up. Alot of your Nascar guys came from small dirt tracks all over the country.
Big Block Dirt Modified in car. They look like so much fun to drive. Way back in the day there was a track called Flemington Speedway and it was a dirt track which they eneded up changing over to asphalt. So the dirt mods had no where to run in that area so they converted the cars over to run on the asphalt and it was amazing to watch. Talk about fast, you have no clue! Take a look at this video…it’s crazy to see how fast these cars are and the steering angle that they get.
