Given the OK to race these cars or not, nobody wants to be responsible for having slammed the wall with one! It appears that he catches the wall with the RT Rear Wheel and loses control sending him into the track dividers. On top of all that it just so happened to be the first race of the day!

The GR Team Truck Driver and great friend to all, Bruce Soltys, passed away this Saturday from a cardiac arrest. He was with the team in Monticello, NY doing some volunteer testing. Bruce was loading the Chevy pickup truck, preparing to leave the track after testing had been completed and fell. He was rushed to the Catskill Regional Medical Center Hospital in Callicoon, NY where he lost his life.
Bruce was a member of GR program for close to 5 years, who was considered more than a truck driver; he was part of the family. Bruce started working with the team in 2007 when Gardella was competing in NHRA Sport Compact Drag Racing. His first event of that season was West Palm Beach FL at Moroso Speedway. He brought his soon to be wife, Kim, along because he was nervous about how he would get along with everyone. Within the first hour of being at the track, Bruce found a home and friendship within the team.
Bruce will be missed by everyone he met. He always seemed to make friends no matter where he went. “I have so many great stories to share about this man,” remembered Gardella. “I will surely miss my old buddy,” he continued “his shoes will be difficult to fill.”
If you knew Bruce please show his family any support you can by sending flowers or a donation to his family. The GR team will be attending the wake from 7-9pm. There will be a passenger van leaving the race shop around 5:30. If anyone would like to ride along with the team, please contact Gary ASAP as seats are going fast.

In 2008 Meck & Dino were asked to remix their song, “Feels Like Home” with Madonna’s, “Like a Prayer,” buy none other then the Material Girl herself. She then went on her “Sticky & Sweet World Tour” through 2008 & 2009, using the remix during her performance! The song gained crazy attention and hit the top 40 on the UK Charts, but never really went mainstream in the US.
The original version’s video is something that we wanted to share because they added a slight twist to what we would consider an ordinary skate video. Check it out, as they give new meaning to the phrase, floating on air!

VICTORY LAP FAIL
Friday, November 26th, 2010Daniel Morad, the winner of this year’s DD2 Rotax World Karting Championship in La Conca, Italy learned the hard way that celebrating during your victory lap on one of these karts may not be a great idea. May I suggest saving these antics for the podium, and when the kart is in motion always keep your hand on the steering wheel! He states that his shoe lace got stuck on one of the pedals. He’s exceptionally lucky that nobody was seriously injured!

It will be amazing to see what this video can do. This edit is everything I expected to see, great driving by Rhys Millen and great editing by DC Chavez. What is good about DC is that he does not roll with some big film crew, he keeps it simple, and with that being said, he gets DM’s best video of the year.

He’s been getting alot of love, and recently made an appearance on Chelsea Lately’s show, (interview included). His latest video has him lip syncing over Jeremih’s & 50 Cent’s, Down On Me. About half way through, 50 makes a special guest appearance, and helps him finish off the song.
