TITAN MOTORSPORT GOING ADRL PRO STOCK RACING

Below is a press release that team Titan dropped yesterday. It is such big news that Titan is looking to grow into the ADRL Extreme ProStock class. I can see the team taking baby steps and that could lead into NHRA prostock in a few years. I will have to give them a call and see what the story is.

For the 2010 season Team Titan plans to race two car’s. Titan has run Scions and Celicas alongside one another in the past, but in 2010 the Team will be changing it up a bit, bringing a 1-2 punch to the ADRL series by racing in two separate classes. Team Captain Nero Deliwala said, “I’ve been having the time of my life racing in ADRL, I just can’t help myself but want to race more and more. All year we chatted about doing a V8 program; then the opportunity presented itself through crew chief Eric Luzinski who has been doing a little Mountain Motor racing this year. So when the opportunity came to add Pro Stock to Titan Motorsports, I jumped.”

The whole team is very excited about this new challenge. Team Titan is not new to fielding a milti-car crew. They did it in 2005, 2006, 2007. Now they will do it again in 2010. Finally giving Titan will have the opportunity to double up in a weekend with 2 seperate class wins. They will race in Extreme Pro Stock as well as Extreme 10.5. Long time team member Gary White will pilot the 10.5″ car while Mark Martino will join the team in Pro Stock.

Bottle Deliwala said, “the team couldn’t be happier, we like to work and we love to race. This is a great opportunity to bring more data to the camp and have the opportunity to race with the Martino family is a great addition to Team Titan.”

When the team was asked about what other plans they have for 2010 they only responded with “there’s more to come for 2010 stay tuned.”
