I can remember the first time I got to drive one of these incredible cars. I was delivering it back to the dealership for my dad who just repaired one at his auto body shop, I believe the year was 1994! The car had 14 miles on it, and was bone stock with the twin turbo package and targa top, and the car had crazy balls, even though I couldn’t get nuts with it because I was delivering back to the dealership, you just knew this machine wanted to get up and go! From that day forward I’ve always wanted to own one.
Fast forward a couple of years, and it became a legendary icon on the scene! Not only was it a neckbreaker at the shows, but also a rocket on the racetrack.
It’s Icon status has made it one of the most valuable cars on the planet, especially the tuner scene, I don’t think any car on the market has ever retained it’s value as much as this car, try to get your hands on one now and your still talking the same numbers that you were back in the 90′s! The demand for the whips are still at a staggering level and their beauty is timeless, somehow I don’t think they will ever get old.
