Vaughn Gittin Jr needs no introduction, he’s been tearing up drift circuits from here to China through-out 2011. His campaign is unreal, and appears to be unstoppable! I don’t think this man sleeps, in other words this dude’s on fire!

This is Studio Mountains latest release for the Nitto Tire brand, and it does not disappoint. All of the Nitto drivers are highly capable of hitting the podium, and in this was the case for Matt Powers at this event.
Ryan Davis just dropped the 2011 Yaer Demo Reel, touching on some of the venues from Formula D to Lemans that he has attended & shot this year. This dudes living the dream, and making great footage along the way! One thing that you can take away from this demo reel is that they make great motorsports films. Looking forward to what he has in store for 2012 and beyond, great job to Yaer for making it happen.
Nitto Tires drops a promotional edit featuring their drivers recently competing at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe Washington during the Formula Drift Round 5 Throwdown. I may be a little bit biased but Ryan Tuerck’s car just looks so damn good sliding around that track in high definition!

Formula Drift is the pinnacle of professional drifting, following the Gardella Racing team at Wall Speedway New Jersey for Round 4 of the series this film hopefully portrays what its like to be at a Formula D event.
Shot with a couple of DSLR’s and a few lenses, no tripods, rigs or any other support equipment was used .. just a viewfinder.

Congrats to Conrad Grunewald who captured his first top spot on the podium last week in Wall NJ, after a great set of runs that were captured by Lab 17. Here is a recap of his day, which ended with alot of champagne being tossed into the air! There is also great footage of Ryan Tuerck’s crash for those of you who weren’t on hand to catch the drama first hand.
East Coast Bash is always an awesome way to spend a summer afternoon if you are a drifting fan from the Northeast! Grassroots drifting at its finest, this event was undoubtedly one of the most incredible events that I attended last summer! Matt Petty is the driving force behind Clubloose and always produces a stellar show! Some really big names in the drifting industry showed up last year, and were more then happy to take the time to talk to fans! This is an awesome chance to learn more about drifting and get to know some of the BIG dogs on the scene! I highly recomend…

Sneaky Pete’s will be open at the track for booze drinks throughout the day and into the night. The lights will be out on the track so we can keep things going after the sun goes down. We’ve got a couple other things we’re planning that should be pretty sweet.
Shanty town vehicles are encouraged.

“The Voice of Formula Drift” interviews, “The Brains of Formula Drift” (Jim Liaw, & Ryan Sage). They talk about the future of Formula Drift, & International Drifting, as well as thank all the supporters and competitors of the sport. Our own resident blogger, Karl O’Sullivan even gets props for introducing Formula Drift to the corporate side of Yas Marina Circuit, way to go Karl. A job well done! I’ve noticed Karl has been getting quite political on his facebook page so I wanted to wish him the best of luck with tomorrow’s elections in Ireland, hopefully they can finally bring about the change that he’s been hoping for, and on that same day; best of luck with the event that he has spent many many sleepless nights trying to organize!
