The duo of Lil Dap and Melachi the Nutcracker became popular the the Gang Starr Foundation under Guru & Premier, and with Premier’s beats and Guru’s knowledge they quickly rose to fame in the 90′s. They have been relatively quiet with single releases since then but it was Premier’s beats that seemed to have really brought them to life back in the day.
