For anyone who finds themselves missing the animated Mad Mike in U.S. Formula D action, here is a quick glimpse of the Bad Bull in Slo-Mo, at Manfield Raceway in New Zealand! As you can tell he’s still been getting it in, and rumor has it that he’ll be back in FD Competition next year for the 2012 season!
THE MYTH, THE LEGEND, THE TRACK…it really does exist, it’s not an illusion in the desert! I’m not sure that their could be a better track to display the art of drifting anywhere else in the world! The voice of Formula D gets the week started off right by introducing us to the legendary Yas Marina Circuit, and interviewing some powerhouses of the sport! Thanks to DRIFTSTREAM no fan will be left out, we will all be able to watch this event live and direct!
Straight from the lens of DeathMachine’s correspondent Karl O’Sullivan (on location), heres a quick glimpse of Mad Mike & Michael Essa being the first to lay down rubber at the Yas Marina in anticipation of this weekend’s event. Let the games begin, and good luck to all competitors involved.
The New Zealand based company responsible for building Mad Mike’s 4 Rotor Turbo Motors is now getting into jet boats. They pride themselves as being, “a dedicated team that has a magnitude of experience that ranges from drag to circuit racing, drift & rallying all at an international winning level. Our staff are all fully trained & are all racers ourselves so we understand your needs”
During a conversation with Mad Mike over the summer, he specifically told me that if I ever decided to meet him in NZ this is the first thing we would be getting into with his friends at Pulse! After seeing the video I’m beginning to have second thoughts, but honestly my addiction to anything and everything extreme will not allow me to hold back! Man, these boats look serious!
Gotta love what these guys can do with the 4 Rotors!
