Chris Forseberg is a veteran driver in the Formula Drift scene, his track presence may be one of the strongest of the entire field. He has won a national championship (2009) as well as becoming 2011′s Team Manager of the Year, that is only a glimpse into some of the accolades this man has accumulated in the short time that Formula D has been in existence. This amazing edit by Ryan Davis truly showcases Mr. Forsberg’s skills, and showmanship. The music selected was pretty much perfect in regard to catching the dramatic run he made toward a 2012 Championship. Although Chris finished 3rd in points for 2011, he was only 20 points shy from the championship when the curtain dropped this year at Irwindale. Once again proving that this man can never be counted out, or under-estimated! I have always said that Chris Forsberg is the epitome of American Drifting, an ideal example of what its like to be on top of the worlds biggest drifting stage, Formula Drift. Gotta love the disclaimer in the beginning of the video that states, “PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS ON A CLOSED COURSE, ALWAYS DRIVE SAFELY AND OBEY ALL RAFFIC LAWS” Clubloose at Beaverun, 2011Thursday, November 3rd, 2011YAER 2011 Automotive DEMO REELTuesday, November 1st, 2011
Ryan Davis just dropped the 2011 Yaer Demo Reel, touching on some of the venues from Formula D to Lemans that he has attended & shot this year. This dudes living the dream, and making great footage along the way! One thing that you can take away from this demo reel is that they make great motorsports films. Looking forward to what he has in store for 2012 and beyond, great job to Yaer for making it happen. AWFILMS | Fatlace/Formula D | IrwindaleFriday, October 28th, 2011
AWFILMS / Abbit Wilerson delivers his edit from the final event of the year at Irwindale Speedway for Fatlace TV, showcasing the talents of the Fatlace sponsored drivers, Matt Field, and Walker Wilkerson. Surprisingly both drivers made their mark on the series this year, collectively earning key points throughout the season, and causing quite the stir among their die-hard fanbase that absolutely love the liveries on those Nissans S-Chasis. They were both considered for best-Looking car in the series for 2011, and Matt Field found a way to edge out the competition with his stunning highlighter colored S14. DM wants to say congrats to both drivers on having a stellar season! Formula Drift: Title Fight 2011Wednesday, October 26th, 2011
Great effort in catching all of the mayhem at he last round of Formula Drift, Irwindale Speedway 2 weeks ago by Loren Haleston. This event shaped up to be one of the best FD rounds in history! The battle for the #1 spot was up in the air, but in the end it seemed nobody could match the numbers posted by Dai Yoshihara this season! Cyrious Productions gets SERIOUS about Irwindale, and the California DaysTuesday, October 25th, 2011Pat Cyr may be the master behind the wheel, but his brother Dan is the master of the camera and the computer when it comes to putting together some of the craziest looking edits ever. His angle choices and backdrops seem to draw you even further into each shot. I know when I watch one of Dan’s edits, I usually know I’m going to watch it at least 5-10 times just to try to catch everything I can. Good Job to the Cyr brothers!
