During the first hr of the 2011 24 Hr LeMans race there was a menacing sight! Allan McNish destroyed his Audi R18 in horrific fashion! Crashing into a 458 Italia Ferrari and then slamming into the tire wall, it is amazing that everyone a 50 ft radius left the scene rather unscathed. If you stop the video at the 6 second mark you will notice how close that camera man was to meeting his maker, guess it just wasn’t your time buddy, may I suggest picking up a lottery ticket on your way home!

Allan McNish (born 29 December 1969) is a racing driver. He is a two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, most recently in 2008, and two-time American Le Mans Series champion. Allan has been racing since the age of 11 and progressed up the motorsport ladder until he reached the pinnacle, Formula 1.
