Round 7 of Formula Drift featuring the V-LEDS Viper driven by Dean Karnage Kearney and the Dodge Challenger by Samuel Hubinette.
Dean Kearney is a class act in the drifting scene, last year he was chosen to pilot what many consider to be the baddest car on the grid, the V-LEDS / SHR Dodge Viper! Simply put, the car is aggressive in nature, not only in stance but in performance as well! The car has a slightly longer wheelbase then most of its competitors, and does not disappoint in the horsepower department either. All in all its not an easy car to drift. His season progressively got better at every event this past season. His counterpart Samuel Hubinette also has an amazing car but did not fair so well, seems as if the Challenger has been plagued with issues. It appears Sam has been shying away from drifting and hovering more closely to the Traxxis Torc Truck Series where his luck seems to be working out better for him, having done very well this past season which was his first on that tour. Rumor has it that Sam may be stepping away from drifting which may leave a vacancy for the Dodge Challenger. There has been no word from that camp yet on who will be the successor, but whom ever may be the chosen one will surely have their work cut out for them considering the “plagues” that seem to be holding that car back, and the fact that Dean Kearney seems to be getting better with every lap that he performs in that Viper!
