Death Machines

Gary asked me a while back what was going on with my Corolla since I was driving in FD this year so I thought a few current pics might help explain.............

Basically, the car took a couple of hits at the World Championship back in November '08.Nothing too major, just body work and some suspension arms.



It then took 6 months to get the car back form the US due to various fuck ups with shipping companies and customs so in June of this year it finally drove itself out of the container and into my shop.

Between traveling back and forth to FD events and putting together an FC for my girl I haven't had much time at my '86 so right now the rear end is almost back in shape, the new front end and radiator set up is done and last weekend I picked up my new suspension arms from D Mac.





It would be back on its feet in the next couple of weeks but I've decided to tear it down fully now and re paint the shell inside and out, fit some equal length 4 links, new FIA spec fuel cell, new carbon dash I got my hands on, all new aero, maybe some nice brakes, MCN Sport coilovers...........

I think Im in love with your carbon fiber fenders! Car looks great, glad to see you are still working on it! Its way to nice to have been retired this early! please keep us posted on your build with updates! Cant wait to see it complete once again! Good luck with it!

The AE86 with a F20 power plant the car is killer. (F20 = Honda S200 motor) Your car looks great I can't wait till you get that thing going again. Thanks for keeping us posted. I want to get some vids of you riding BMX to hook us up. You should come out to NJ during the FD off season and hit up some parks with us.

always been a lover of the AE86's....good work man...cant wait to see it finished!

Yeah my fiber glass guy is now working with kevlar Rich, its tough as hell which means its very difficult to get into the corners of the bumper moulds so its just front and rear fenders for now.

I don't have any competition commitments over here now so Im looking forward to painting it whatever colour I like and having some fun in it again, man I miss driving it !.

I was actually riding trails yesterday with a few lads Gary and told them that if Throttle Thursday happens again they will be coming over with me for a few days.There is some really talented riders here now and it would be cool to see them hang with some of the pro's you had in the park that night.

These are our trails in Dublin, at about 40 sec in. Hard to believe we've still got a couple of dry lines in there with this time of year !
